There’s a change in our office.
You would have noted or received subscription notice from Shalendra who is now our Special Administrator.
Prashant Naidu who has been acting in this role for some time is now working full time for DSM Centre – my clinic.
There was too much work for Prashant in my clinic and one of the staff resigned suddenly, which compromised some of the work as an Admin Officer for NCCI.
His work was voluntarily assisting the chamber. Shalendra was recalled as he was a past NCCI Secretary as well as Special Administrator, Web Master and PRO.
He came into limelight after the last Fiji Care sponsored Business Forum which was well featured in the news media and it was largely Shalendra’s foresight and vision.
One of the first task for Shalendra is to streamline the scope of work, SOP, update membership base, collect outstanding subscription, help prepare accounts for the past 4-years and eventually prepare for the General Meeting that is long overdue.
Shalendra is already working hard to send out invoices and collecting subscriptions from all the members. This is our top priority and we would like to request you all to pay your subscription ASAP. (Please ignore this part if you have already paid).
You’ll be getting the invoices on emails as well as hard copies if requested or where possible.
The invoice is for year 2024 but since 2025 is just round the corner or a month away, you may like to make double payments for 2025 well.
This will improve our bank balance which is quite low at the moment. Receipts will be promptly issued.
My apologies for the failure in sending out the notices for payments earlier but now with Shalendra back we will ensure transparency and accountability as well as strengthening NCCI base, aims and objectives.
You were earlier notified of the revamped website, thanks again to Shalendra for spearheading that.

2024 is coming to an end and the festive season is again upon us as well as the cyclone season!
