Ever since taking office, Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry president and hardworking board members have been engaging with various stakeholders and government agencies in multiple fronts with a common goal of moving Nadi forward by creating more employment and business opportunities for all concerned.

NCCI president Lawrence Kumar and board member Ashfaaq Khan flank Constantine Panayiotou, president of the Fiji USA Business Council in a historic meeting earlier this week.

After successful engagements with the Nadi Town Council, Fiji Government, Nadi Rugby Union and the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation, this week, president Lawrence Kumar and board member Ashfaaq Khan took matters one step ahead following a historic meeting with Constantine Panayiotou, president of the Fiji USA Business Council.

The two organisations have agreed to form a cordial business relationship to promote economic activities for all members concerned.

The historic meeting in Nadi is a curtain raiser to a business networking meeting scheduled for Friday, July 18 with NCCI and the Fiji USA Business Council which is facilitating the visit and public engagement of USA trade expert Steven Okun who will be engaging with the members of NCCI in a morning tea and networking session at the Tokatoka Resort opposite Nadi International Airport.
